Purposes of practicum
1. Students have an opportunity to practicum in abroad and use their skills in real situation.
2. Students can apply the theory in teaching foreign students.
3. Students participate in activities that enhance the features of a teacher.

Procedures of practicum
1. Attend the orientation of the University.
1.1 Welcoming ceremony from Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto
1.2 Exchange teaching methods
1.3 Get the teaching practicum schedule.
1.4 Visit around the university.
2. Meet supervisor and administrators to begin teaching practice.
2.1 Visit the school with supervisor and meet English teachers.
2.2 Get the directions from supervisor or mathematics teachers to teach mathematics
2.3 Get the teaching schedule
3. Prepare materials and lesson plan
3.1 Get an English book from mentor.
3.2 Make the lesson plan according to the book.
4. Observe in English class
4.1 Question about lesson plan or teaching.
4.2 Notes the results of observation and participation.
5. Be a teaching assistant
5.1 Practice other duties as assigned by the supervisor or school.
5.2 Control the class by Q&A
6. Teach mathematics at grade 7 class 7A 7B 7C 7E 7F 7G
6.1 Send the lesson plan to mentor before teaching.
6.2 Teach according to lesson plan.
6.3 Mentor gives a feedback after finished teaching.
6.4 Improve teaching based on feedback received.

Outcomes of practicum
1. Reaching responsibility of teacher.
2. Practice solving immediate problems inside and outside the classroom.
3. Knowing the technique of teaching and choose teaching methods or materials are suitable for each students level.
4. Improve many skills; language skills, teaching skills and life skills.
5. Improve behavior of personality for being a good teacher.

The challenges of practicum
1. Some student can’t speak English, so teacher should motivate them to speak English or teacher should learn about Bahasa Indonesian.
2. Some class has about 30 students. It’s difficult to do group work. Teacher can do class group or pair work.
3. Some classroom doesn’t have projector, so it sometimes makes students are confused what the teacher says.
4. Teacher can’t manage the time to do activities.
5. In the room have no microphone, so the teacher must speak louder.

Overall impression
The project SEA-Teacher Batch 4 which exchange students to Indonesia is a good project for the students who want to practicum oversea or get the experience from another country. It’s very good to try to reach an
exotic experience.

Suggestions for future improvement
This project will be better if they have schedule which tell list to do in each day when the students aboard.
